Boris Daenen AKA Netsky
It's hard to believe that Boris 'Netsky' Daenen's debut release on an offshoot of DJ Hype's Ganja label arrived as recently as spring 2009. With a trickle of high-quality releases since then, he has quickly established himself as one of the hottest new talents in drum+bass. With DJs such as Hype, Fresh, Fabio & Grooverider, Logistics and High Contrast clamouring to spin his music, Netsky is now carving out a DJ career of his own playing everywhere from Russia to Barcelona and Poland to Vienna. His track 'Smile' recently featured on the massive 'Hospitality presents: This Is Drum+Bass' compilation and his version of Miike Snow's 'Black and Blue' clearly demonstrates his remixing capabilities. Moving into 2010, he has signed exclusively to the mighty Hospital Records. The future is very bright for this young Belgian talent! |
