A selection of the best entries will be released digitally via Drone Audio and one lucky winner will see their remix released on 12″ vinyl!

Alexander Pavlenko is a name that might not be familiar to you. But you may recognise his Sunchase alias. His releases have always lingered on the underground edge and despite clocking up releases on the seminal Moving Shadow, amongst other impressive labels, his music has yet to break through to the mainstream. All that is about to change as Sunchase prepares to drop his impressive debut album on Drone Audio.

This album contains music which has been tried and tested by some of the world’s most respected club DJs, you won’t find any neo-jump-up, mid-range-synth driven clangers on it – instead you’ll be washed away by the sheer brilliance of Alexander Pavlenko’s musical talent. Since his debut release in 2003, Alexander has been composing music of the highest quality for a host of respected dance labels including Moving Shadow. In 2004, with the assistance of Latvian singer Yana Kay, he unleashed “Remember Me” on the unsuspecting dance music community. The track created a huge stir, turning many UK heads towards the rapidly growing drum+bass scene in eastern Europe and gaining massive support from Concord Dawn, Fresh, Pendulum and John B no less.
Moving into 2010 the drum+bass productions keep on coming with an album in the pipeline and a spattering of techno releases under the name Kvadrat. Watch out!
