Gabriella Bongo is a writer, producer and DJ from South London. Gabriella infuses her love for the more soulful side of drum & bass with a multitude of influences including Dogger, Hybrid Minds, Rudimental, Chase & Status. She began producing music at just 9 years old on GarageBand. Self-taught on piano and currently studying sound engineering at ICMP London, she crafts catchy, melodic tracks centred on authentic real-life, lived-experience songwriting and emotional connection.
Since her debut single in December 2020, Bongo has gained significant recognition with BBC 1Xtra’s track of the week and Hospital Records’ “Woman In Drum and Bass” mentee. Her latest release “Doesn’t Hurt” with mentor Dogger explores emotional vulnerability through her signature sound.

Her performances include live shows at O2 Academy Islington and Hospitality In The Woods, with Hospitality On The Beach in Croatia slated for July 2025.
With her recent signing to Hospital Records in March 2025, a BBC Radio 1 guest mix already under her belt and an ever-growing collection of exciting collaborations yet to be released, Gabriella Bongo is proudly flying the flag for the next generation of drum & bass artists.
