B-Complex

B-complex is one of the most recognised Slovakian music exports in the world. Hailing from its capital Bratislava, Matia has performed at countless club and festival events around the World. This was definitely fuelled by the release of Beautiful Lies on Hospital Records’ Sick Music compilation. The tune soon became a major drum & bass hit, and is now considered classic among many.

B-complex’s music combines liquid elements with heavier bass and drums. In production and in DJing she manages to break the repeating patterns with surprising selections.

For many, her coming out as transgender was a huge surprise. She promotes tolerance, understanding and defends the minorities, in her actions and in her music.
