Electrosoul System

Andrey Burtaev aka Electrosoul System first leapt into the public eye in 2003 when his track ‘A Tear in My Eye’ was featured by Makoto & Deeizm in the legendary Good Looking Records album series ‘Progression Sessions’. Since then Electrosoul System has released on a galaxy of quality labels including Hospital, Spearhead, Fokuz,Covert Operations and, in 2006, finally started his own label, Kos.Mos.Music which has brought a wealth of Russian and other regional talent to mainstream audiences in the UK & Europe.

2015 saw him release his brand new album ‘Flawless’ on Med School, an LP filled with originality, raw industrialised sounds and futuristic twists.
Not content sticking with one style, Electrosoul System has branched out beyond Drum & Bass into house, tech-house, techno, electrotech, progressive and even trance, finding support from James Zabiela, Dave Seaman, James Holden, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Bushwacka & more.

Both as a DJ and with his live project, ESSL, Andrey has played across the whole of Europe, the UK and even China. His own Kos.Mos.Music label runs its own regular Steppin’ Session and Phuture Beats events in Moscow, hosting the very cream of electronic music performers from around the world. An exceptionally adventurous producer, DJ & performer, Electrosoul System brings the unexpected to every event he plays.
