meesh.r is a 20 year old singer/songwriter born and bred in South East London. Having grown up on a diet of R&B and soul, she was exposed to the city’s vibrant electronic music scene as a teenager, and now specialises in fusing those influences through the music she creates on her phone using the BandLab app.

Debut single ‘Not Good Enough’, produced by Grammy-nominated Arum Beats, was a clear declaration of meesh.r’s vocal talent. Sultry, unpredictable and memorable, her lyrics and melodies exude confidence and a scholarly understanding of the genres she loves. Writing up to 5 songs per day, both for her own projects and for others, meesh.r’s work rate is testament to her dedication to music.

As the latest signing to Songs In The Key Of Knife, she has set the world of drum & bass and jungle firmly in her sights, whilst she continues to make waves in the R&B scene. meesh.r projects an ambiguous image, and paired with her raw lyrics she hopes to create curiosity in minds.
